Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC) and Public Service Media (PSM) have signed an agreement to expand the capabilities of Creatoll, the country's emerging digital marketplace for creative content.
The agreement was signed by VMC Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Ibrahim Shiuree and PSM Managing Director Ahmed Shakeeb.
Under the partnership, PSM's extensive audiovisual archive—the country's largest collection of historical footage, documentaries, interviews and cultural recordings—will be integrated into the Creatoll platform.
The collaboration aims to create a one-stop digital hub where users can browse and purchase local creative content while also gaining access to a comprehensive collection of Maldivian photography, films and cultural archives.
As part of the initiative, selected photographs, documentaries, historical footage and contemporary media content from PSM's archives will be made available through Creatoll.
The two organisations said the partnership will provide users with easier access to authentic content showcasing Maldivian culture, traditions, heritage and contemporary life through a single trusted digital marketplace.
